Viewing of music video feedback (rough copy)

During our media lesson a couple of groups received some feedback on the music videos and short clips they have created. The videos haven’t full been perfected yet we are still in the process of finishing them but the videos were good enough to make a comment on. Unfortunately our footage was a little jumpy because we didn’t convert the footage to a format that Final Cut Pro could handle as it takes a longer time to process the data from the DSLR Cameras. But we still showed our peers what we produced.

In terms of feedback, one of our peers said she thought the video looked very professional and she liked the camera movements/shots. She also thought that the video went well with the genre of the song as well as the meaning of the song.  She liked the fact we used a radio extract and interview piece talking about the illuminati as it contributed to the concept and the connotation of the music video. She understood the concept of the video and the reason it being filmed during the night. In terms improvements she suggested that we fixed on our technically glitches and perhaps add the title of the song and the names of the artists during the intro of the clip.

Other group member said there was a very good source of light even though it was dark. We adapted to our surroundings well and we found ways to how to use the streets lights well to create some sort of effect. He also said the lighting exposure on the camera was set up correctly. In terms of the cutting rate he said the cuttings weren’t too long, there were quick changes but it still looked good. He liked our video overall he thought we were imaginative with our panning and placement. He didn’t have much to say on improvements.  Overall we are pleased with our feedback and we intend on making improvement so we will take our feedback to account when doing so.During our media lesson a couple of groups received some feedback on the music videos and short clips they have created.
